I provide a space for foster, adoptive, special and high needs parents, and those walking alongside others experiencing trauma, to feel their feelings, to be okay not being okay, and share the unfiltered truth of their experience in the moment. Falling apart and putting ourselves and our families back together again can only happen in a judgment-free zone, and my corner of the internet is a safe harbor in the storm.
You will be Seen
This is sacred work, and I see each and every family who is taking on this task of loving and caring for children from hard places. You matter, too. Nobody slips through the cracks here.
You will be Believed
Your experience is real and valid. We are on a wild journey, I trust you when you say something is so for you.
You will be Informed
Knowing your options, sharing available resources, and having an experienced community to draw from is vital to this chosen path. I’m humbled to guide and share with you what I’ve learned and am continually learning along the way.
You will be Encouraged
You are so much more capable and resilient than you know. I know this journey makes us stronger in ways that we may never point to and willingly exclaim, “Sign me up for that!” It is my joy to link arms with you as we move towards unsinkable hope and sustained endurance on this road less traveled.
